Who Are Smart eLearning, And What Do We Do?
The beginning of Smart eLearning
Founded by Andy and Samantha Vanderpal, Smart eLearning was created to provide an innovative alternative to stale corporate learning programmes.
Smart eLearning started from humble beginnings. Having each worked for 10 years in a learning and development role for some well-known organisations, it became apparent that training as we knew it, needed to change. Andy and Sam trialled their ideas by creating engaging, fun, and meaningful digital learning experiences for their learners as part of BSkyB’s onboarding. After implementing a simulated learning experience for systems training, employee retention rose 50% in 60 days. This inspired them to revolutionise the tried and tested curriculum and were both hired by the parent company within weeks to design and develop training for all of their clients worldwide.
After creating hundreds of training programs for approximately 65,000 employees worldwide, and in over 30 different languages, Andy and Sam felt that they would like to have the freedom to implement the latest digital learning trends with their clients and explore more sectors… And one day, over a quiet coffee, Smart eLearning was born.
